About the project

As an eCommerce Data Analyst, you will provide advanced analytical expertise and guide the organization in applying modern eCommerce analytics practices. In this role, you will drive the adoption of advanced web analytics across the digital landscape and take ownership of delivering data and analytics solutions that support strategic business goals. You will work closely with Product Owners and key stakeholders to understand business needs, define the right analytical approach, and oversee the configuration and development of tracking and data solutions in collaboration with technical teams.

A key part of the position is acting as a central point of contact for business stakeholders — helping them translate complex data (behavioral, transactional, customer) into clear, complete and actionable insights. Your work will directly support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day decision-making in the eCommerce area.

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager setup for eCommerce platforms
  • Create measurement plans, implement events in GTM and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with marketing, development and data teams to ensure tracking aligns with business goals
  • Test and validate data layer implementation and troubleshoot technical tracking issues
  • Manage GA and GTM accounts and provide user support
  • Lead the full analytics cycle: gather business requirements, analyze data, build reports and present recommendations
  • Analyze web, transactional and customer data to identify trends, opportunities and business insights
  • Provide analytical support for ongoing projects and contribute to A/B testing processes
  • Support the development of eCommerce data models and stay up to date with industry trends
  • Contribute to team development and deliver training on web data and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and IT quality policies

Our requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4), Google Tag Manager and A/B testing tools
  • At least 7 years of experience in eCommerce data analysis or a similar role
  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Methods, Computer Science or related field
  • Understanding of eCommerce platform architecture, product data flows and user behavior tracking
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid experience with SQL, BigQuery and advanced Excel
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) and working with tools such as Hotjar or Clarity
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; familiarity with Scrum methodology
  • Strong business acumen, independence and good organizational skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication across international teams
