Viessmann is a leader of technological progress in the heating industry, with its Wrocław based R&D Center developing the company’s products in the field of software and electronics. We use only state-of-the-art technology and equipment to translate the results of our work into innovative solutions to be applied in the near and more distant future.

The person on the given job position will be a part of E2E Software Tests Team located in Wrocław R&D area. At this position you will be focusing primarily on testing activities to ensure high quality of our products from end-to-end perspective.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform initial analysis of requirements and test cases;
• Definition of test cases and test suits for our products;
• Execution of manual test cases;
• Test results reporting;
• Cooperation with development and testing team;
• Preparation of tests environments;
• Daily work with real equipment;
• Supporting analysis and resolving of bugs reported from integration tests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of electronics, automation & controls, computer science or any comparable course of studies;
• Good understanding of testing principles and theory (ISTQB certification is a plus);
• Commercial experience in the software testing area (3+ years);
• Experience in working with real equipment;
• Working experience in agile management system;
• Knowledge of any test management tool;
• Ability to solve problems;
• Willingness to learn about EHVAC systems;
• Good English, written and spoken;
• Ability to work from office 5 days a week.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python programming language;
• Experience in Testing Automation;
• Knowledge of version control systems (i.e. Git);
• Working experience with Jira or similar.
