Discontinuation Manager Procurement

• Ensure supply security in the event of supplier discontinuations by developing and coordinating technical, logistical, and strategic solutions (e.g. stockpiling, alternative parts, requalification)
• Independently coordinate and manage discontinuation cases – no case is like the other: you act flexibly, solution-oriented, and with a high degree of decision-making authority
• Troubleshooting in critical supply situations triggered by supplier discontinuations: you proactively propose and drive stabilization measures for the supply chain
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Production, and Procurement to enable fast decision-making and implementation
• Take budget responsibility for discontinuation-related measures, including cost evaluation and alignment with relevant stakeholders
• Communicate with suppliers to clarify best technical and commercial conditions and ensure implementation of agreed actions
• Document and track activities related to discontinuation coordination and continuously improve associated processes
