The Role

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing security team of three Product Security Engineers responsible for conducting global secure design reviews and threat modeling for direct-to-consumer products, including high-profile platforms like MAX.
  • Provide technical leadership and manage security projects with precision from conception through global deployment and seamless handover.
  • Develop strategy, support key performance indicators for the product security program
  • Expertly conduct threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities at the earliest stages of product development.
  • Strategically support InfoSec SVP and VP leadership with technical direction and vision to implement a robust product security strategy for WBD.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with senior DTC product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and develop secure, innovative features and functionalities for direct-to-consumer products.
  • Implement security tooling and processes to scale architecture and product security reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the security of direct-to-consumer products and services, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence within the organization.
  • Manage and mentor technical staff in alignment with company policies and structures, overseeing the recruitment, training, and professional development of top-tier security personnel.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate security technologies and tools, staying ahead of the latest security trends and emerging threats.
  • Develop and enforce industry-leading security best practices and standards for engineering teams, providing comprehensive guidance and training on secure coding and testing techniques.

QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on product security and secure software development.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and inspiring high-performing security teams, including at least 5 Sr./Product Security Engineers.
  • Extensive experience conducting secure design reviews and threat modeling for global direct-to-consumer products.
  • Strong technical expertise in security architecture, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide visionary technical leadership and manage security projects from conception through global deployment and seamless handover.
  • Expertise in threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities at the earliest stages of product development.
  • Experience collaborating with senior product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design and develop secure, innovative features and functionalities.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product security.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the security of direct-to-consumer products and services.
  • Strong mentoring and management skills to oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of top-tier security personnel.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest security trends, emerging threats, and cutting-edge security technologies and tools.
  • Experience developing and enforcing industry-leading security best practices and standards for engineering teams, with a focus on secure coding and testing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with InfoSec leadership and cross-functional teams.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
