Director of Civil Engineering Division in Poland - rekrutacja online

For our client, we are seeking an experienced leader to join their team as the Director of Civil Engineering Division in Poland . In this role, you will oversee the management of project teams handling large and midsize infrastructure projects, aligning with the companys strategy, business model, and values.

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate the organization’s strategic goals into actionable operational plans for the division and oversee their execution.
2. Lead the development and implementation of operational initiatives in the civil engineering sector, managing core processes.
3. Track the financial performance of projects, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
4. Conduct regular project reviews to ensure targets are met.
5. Promote and enforce safe work practices, including regular safety visits to projects.
6. Analyze market opportunities and assess potential investments in line with long-term business strategy.
7. Develop and sustain relationships with clients, strategic partners, and key contractors.
8. Foster an organizational culture that reflects the company’s values and ensure adherence to these values.
9. Support employee development activities, identify potential successors, and implement development programs.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and results-driven leader who:

1. Has at least 5 years of management experience in the construction/civil engineering sector and holds a Master’s degree—preferably in civil engineering.
2. Has a strong background in developing and implementing business strategies, as well as refining operational processes to deliver consistent outcomes.
3. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the civil engineering industry and its market dynamics.
4. Is focused on delivering high-quality results across a broad client portfolio.
5. Brings proven expertise in managing relationships with clients, contractors, partners, and suppliers.
6. Demonstrates sound leadership, financial savvy, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Is skilled in resolving challenges and creating motivated, high-performing teams.
8. Upholds high ethical standards and embodies the company’s values in everyday work.
9. Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively across diverse teams.
10. Is fluent in both Polish and English.
11. Holds a valid category B driver’s license.
