TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Face-to-face meetings with regional customer sites as required. A company car will form part of the total package offered.

Scope

The Sales Manager will identify and secure new accounts/customers across Toshiba’s portfolio (Hardware, Software, Services & Maintenance), developing market share and strengthening awareness of Toshiba with direct customers in Poland. You will be responsible for building up Toshiba’s reputation, implementing and promoting the companys commercial policy.

Key Activities And Responsibilities

  1. Identify, target and secure new accounts and drive sales across the full Toshiba portfolio.
  2. Promote the companys image and reputation in the marketplace.
  3. Establish a deep familiarity with the Toshiba product catalogue.
  4. Manage and develop the existing customer network.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing to develop offers and create attractive sales materials.
  6. Ensure the smooth running of current contracts in conjunction with the deployment teams.
  7. Identify customer pain points and challenges with the objective to problem solve and demonstrate the quality and capabilities of Toshiba’s portfolio.
  8. Participate in the negotiation of strategic accounts and maintain partnerships.
  9. Develop and propose the key account sales policy and implementation strategy to the general management.
  10. Frequently conduct market analysis to understand market developments and competitive offers to facilitate adaptability and responsiveness.
  11. Monitor and analyse sales performance, ensuring reliable reporting and forecasting is presented to management in a timely manner.
  12. Establish and manage commercially viable sales budgets (margins, expenses).
  13. Review and evaluate the level of maturity of the current process in order to determine the degree of control in a continuous improvement approach.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR (SKILLS AND QUALITIES REQUIRED)

  1. Experience working in a Retail or Technology Services environment, familiar with retail technology (Point of Sale, Self-Check-Out, RFID, product recognition) is preferred.
  2. Experience opening new business accounts and evidence of closing deals, managing the end-to-end sales cycle.
  3. Communication and active listening skills. In particular the ability to persuade, convince and lead through language as well as the ability to analyse and synthesis to problem solve.
  4. Customer-driven and service oriented in your approach.
  5. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  6. Experience managing a budget and in conducting meetings.
  7. English Language skills (written, oral, listening, reading).
