Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Digital Territory Account Manager to join our Digital Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and a passion for driving business growth through acquiring new accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Be wholly accountable for a sales target into a defined territory.
  • Take ownership of sales opportunities: provide accurate sales forecasting, demonstrate knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through procurement, and maintain Salesforce accordingly.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to drive sales into your assigned territory.
  • In partnership with the F5 Channel team, support and guide channel partners on technical solutions and developing a selling plan focused on the channel: prospecting, account planning, and lead generation, building relationships and opportunities with channel partners by effectively communicating and demonstrating F5 solutions.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations via phone and Zoom to close sales within the defined territory.
  • Understand the business needs and challenges of organizations in the territory: research and develop lists of potential customers, identify and qualify opportunities, make regular sales calls to build relationships, and follow up on leads.
  • Build and execute a territory strategy with support from Digital Sales Solutions Engineers and Channel teams.
  • Collaborate in sales planning and strategy through research and maintenance of long- and short-range sales and marketing plans.
  • Partner with the marketing team to contribute to lead-generation strategies.
  • Represent F5 at trade shows and other sales and marketing events.
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Uphold F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of selling security and networking solutions, as well as SaaS and modern apps.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
