Biedronka is undergoing a digital transformation. Our teams role is to support the organization in this process through cooperation in the IT solutions domain - their selection, assessment and development. We focus on new initiatives such as e-commerce, mobile application, new functionalities in sales-supporting systems, and ensure governance of current tools, their architectural correctness, security, and documentation. The complex business domain of the projects poses many engineering challenges, where the architecture & DevOps team is a crucial element enabling success on multiple fronts. OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher education in computer science
• Experience in building solutions that support sales, such as E-commerce and POS systems, as well as other business functionality
• Experience in designing the architecture of digital solutions, particularly in cloud environments like AWS or GCP
• Ability to prepare technical and functional specifications
• Good knowledge of E-commerce platforms and related processes
• Knowledge of building and designing architectures, infrastructures (both classic and cloud-based), and websites
• Familiarity with integration methods, approaches, and design models
• High engagement and proactivity in problem-solving
• As Nice-to-have, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of the following tools: Terraform, Mulesoft, SAP PI/PO, Salesforce products.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Preparing designs and descriptions, such as functional specifications, interface specifications, and infrastructure, for various systems including E-commerce, POS, ERP, and others
• Creating interface specifications, defining data flows, necessary transformations, and data validations. Designing and setting up communication channels like SFTP, HTTP APIs, and message queues (e.g., Kafka) in collaboration with external vendors and internal IT departments
• Conducting solution vendor selection processes with a focus on functionality and technical aspects
• Preparing and participating in RFI/RFP processes
• Participating in testing activities for the developed solution, with a particular focus on integration, security, and performance testing
• Assisting business users in performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) acceptance tests
• Supporting system operations, including configuration, error handling, error analysis, and forwarding to external vendors
• Providing ideas and implementing observability practices to ensure high business continuity
• Managing the documentation process, primarily using our Atlassian stack or similar tools
• Assisting in change management and application development processes.
