Overview

The DPM Lead is responsible for driving the DPM operations forward by understanding market dynamics, setting a strategic vision, building strong internal and external relationships, initiating improvement projects, and managing operations to ensure the Benelux BU continues to meet the evolving demands of customers, third parties, and consumers. The role requires ensuring the team is fully equipped to deliver digital products on time and across all channels, while navigating growing demands for data quality, faster change cycles, and complex business processes in a volatile market environment.

Responsibilities

Integrated Task Overview - DPM & eCommerce

Data Governance & Quality

  • Monitor and manage all DPM KPIs.
  • Maximize data quality; respond to KPI reports and scorecards.
  • Perform monthly assortment checks (Voedingscentrum & PSinfoodservice).
  • SME on data feeds for accurate and up‑to‑date product data and images.

eCommerce Content & Marketing Coordination

  • Coordinate eCommerce content (titles, descriptions, USPs, keywords) for NPDs/PPAs.
  • Update content in SRC-PDM.
  • Push and monitor Marketing for pack shots and TU/TUCU hero images.
  • Support commercial teams with images via DAM.

GS1 & Brandbank Management

  • Act as GS1 expert and SPOC for the commercial business.
  • Participate in GS1 working groups and advisory council.
  • Prepare and vote on GDSN data model updates.
  • Act on quarterly GS1 releases and attend webinars (e.g., sustainability, QR codes).
  • Monitor artwork audits in BeLux.
  • Maintain contact with GS1 (NL & BeLux).
  • SME on Brandbank developments; bi‑weekly calls and quarterly payment checks.
  • First point of contact for Brandbank.

SRC-PIM/DAM System Ownership

  • Key user for data model management aligned with PepsiCo needs.
  • Manage users and licenses for PIM/DAM.
  • Approve new users and support onboarding.
  • Project Support & System Migration.
  • SME on SRC-PDM developments and internal projects (e.g., E-Businessnet).
  • Lead migration from SRC-PDM to Productspace.

Commercial & Customer Support

  • Run data reports for commercial teams.
  • Act on update requests (WHL-BBD, pallet info).
  • Publish product data to customers and respond to inquiries.
  • Check EAN codes on new artworks.
  • Guide and support the KCC DPM team.
  • Act as EAN/GTIN expert (GS1 allocation rules).

Budget & PO Management

  • Own DPM budget; create POs with Finance support and alignment with eCom Sales manager.
  • Monitor and ensure timely activation of all DPM‑related payments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor+ degree (preferably in Business or Information Management)
  • Working experience in data and/or content management preferred
  • Knowledge of GS1, GDSN and related topics preferred
  • Working experience with relevant IT systems (e.g. SAP, PDM, DAM, SRC-PIM, Productspace) preferred
  • Focused on driving results and developing capability to meet customer expectations
  • Quality oriented - doing the right thing the right way
  • Service minded, (internal & external) customer focused
  • Able to professionally interact with and influence a diverse (virtual & cross‑cultural) group: global and sector, managers, staff, and subject matter experts (~L4‑B2)
  • Experienced in business analysis, developing standards, processes, specifications and policies
  • Problem solving & analysis skills, including technical, political, cultural and implementation aspects
  • Proactive, self‑starter, hands‑on and eye for detail
  • Driven, determined, able to take DPM operations to the next level
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (e.g. Brandbank, GS1, internal teams)
  • Experience in coordinating cross‑functional projects and system migrations
  • Skilled in data governance and KPI monitoring
  • Ability to manage budgets and purchase orders
  • Familiarity with eCommerce content creation and optimization (titles, USPs, keywords)
  • Understanding of image and artwork workflows (DAM, hero images, pack shots)
  • Knowledge of GTIN/EAN allocation rules and product data publication processes
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms for product data management
  • Capable of training and supporting users in PIM/DAM systems
