responsibilities :
You will be based in our Wroclaw or Lisbon office as part of Spendscape and join the delivery team. You will collaborate closely with our McKinsey consulting teams as well as directly with our clients to deliver and implement Spendscape.
Spendscape is part of McKinsey’s procurement practice and brings technology and services to our clients to drive spend transparency, spend and cost analytics, and value-capture management. Spendscape belongs to McKinsey’s global Client Capabilities Network (CCN) which includes more than 3,500 knowledge professionals who work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge.
You will take on end to end responsibility for implementation projects of the Spendscape solution, be the point of contact for clients and consulting teams and interact with various experts.
In this role, you will engage with client team members to understand their system landscape and requirements for a sustainable spend analytics solution, as well as foster their understanding of the implementation process to create transparency and turn it into insights and impact. Your responsibilities will include project scoping, alignment of data extraction methods, coordinating data processing and validation, driving data categorization and harmonization, spend analysis and opportunity identification, and capability building.
You are the gatekeeper for quality and timely outputs and will lead workshops with clients and McKinsey consulting teams in the different phases of the process to ensure a successful implementation. You will guide the solution analysts and data professionals and involve other Spendscape or McKinsey experts for problem-solving when needed. Based on the output of the spend cube analyses, you will generate insights for your clients and McKinsey consulting teams, highlighting savings and optimization opportunities and how to turn them into actions.
In addition to project delivery, you will contribute to operational improvements of existing solution modules and hand over client feedback about potential new features to the product development team.
You will ensure digital procurement assets, vendors and processes adhere to the highest standards and that client information and data is safeguarded to the utmost level.
