As a Process Transformation Expert (R2R) in the Intelligent Consulting Hub Europe Digital Finance Transformation Team (part of Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice), you will work at the heart of the CFOs’ agenda, supporting them in their Digital Finance Transformation programs.

You will use your expertise and knowledge to support CFOs of our world‑class Clients in transforming Finance into a digitally‑enabled partner, driving the transformation agenda across the enterprise and providing real‑time insights to the business decision‑making process. You will implement innovative programs and employ state‑of‑the‑art solutions and technologies to transform organizations end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an Record‑to‑Report (RTR) subject matter expert while working with Accenture’s global teams to shape and help clients develop innovative and industry‑leading solutions.
  • Advise our clients on a wide range of Digital Finance Transformation discussions focused on Record‑to‑Report process area, focusing on process design, harmonization and improvement, adoption of leading practices and implementation of Enabling Technologies such as SAP S/4 HANA FI, CO, Blackline, Workiva.
  • Contribute to various aspects of the finance transformation journey and the assessment of the project requirements and deliverables to identify the best Record‑to‑Report solution for clients.
  • Engage and lead client conversations, lead client workshops focusing on RTR processes and present recommendations to key client stakeholders.
  • Shape Accenture’s thought capital around current and emerging enabling technologies in Record‑to‑Report area.
  • Participate in the business development activities related to the Record‑to‑Report Enabling Technology opportunities, AI adoption in process transformation.
  • Work across a dynamic, international team where English is the common language.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of practical and international experience in Finance Transformation programs execution for large‑scale organizations, including best‑in‑class process design, technology, and automation implementation.
  • Previous experience in Consulting preferred, project management experience a strong plus.
  • Exposure to the following areas in Record‑to‑Report: Financial Accounting, Finance Process Optimization, Month End Closing, Financial Reporting, COA Design, Financial Master Data. Ability to lead client conversations in those areas.
  • Knowledge of F&A specific technology, i.e.: ERPs (e.g., SAP S/4 HANA FI, CO, Closing Cockpit, SAP Central Finance) and other enabling technologies (e.g., BlackLine, Workiva, RPA, workflows, process mining, etc.).
  • Business acumen, good understanding of financial accounting fundamentals and key performance indicators in the CFO organization.
  • Ability and experience in working with mid‑senior to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of consulting work environment, supported by practical experience working in Finance Transformation projects.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Excellent English (written & spoken) is a must.
