Specific Requirements

  • meeting the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended);
  • master’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, in the discipline of Security Science;
  • knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to teach subjects related to crisis management, emergency management, civil protection, and civil defence, including experience in these areas from work in public administration;
  • documented scientific and publication achievements in the scientific discipline of Security Science;
  • ability to think analytically, ability to work in a team, availability;
  • knowledge of English at B2 level;
  • knowledge of distance learning systems (MS Teams);
  • very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Additional Information

Anticipated scope of duties:

  • participation in the implementation of the didactic process, comprising lectures, exercises, seminars, laboratory classes and consultations, including classes conducted in English, and remote classes, especially (but not only) on topics in crisis management, rescue services, population protection, and civil defence, in the fields of Public Administration in the National Security System, Public Administration in the Internal Security System, National Security, State Defence, including, inter alia, preparation of exams, preparation of course description implementation cards, development of teaching aids;
  • participation in the organizational work of the Institute of Security and the Faculty of Security, Logistics and Management of the Military University of Technology;
  • participation in the work of task forces appointed to carry out expert opinions, assessments, opinions and analyses for the benefit of national security and defence;
  • striving to improve professional competences by improving teaching skills and updating knowledge in the field of subjects taught;
  • following current scientific research, including interdisciplinary research in the discipline of security science;
  • active participation in projects aimed at developing the teaching base;
  • compliance with the regulations in force at the Military University of Technology, including those concerning work discipline, protection of classified information, health, and safety and fire protection;
  • performance of tasks specified by superiors, and related to the position held.

  • statement whether the Academy will be the primary place of employment.
