DFMEA Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all customer requirements regarding DFMEA are properly understood and implemented.
  • Planning, tracking and monitoring DFMEA progress for assigned projects.
  • Organising DFMEA kick‑off and interdisciplinary workshops with project teams.
  • Training project team members in DFMEA methodology and tools.
  • Moderating DFMEA meetings through mentoring, coaching and supporting the project team.
  • Supporting the project team during customer reviews.
  • Ensuring that DFMEA content meets customer standards and automotive industry requirements.
  • Verifying and approving the completeness and accuracy of DFMEA documentation.
  • Ensuring that DFMEA is archived and maintained in accordance with configuration management requirements.
  • Acting as the administrator of DFMEA tools and databases, ensuring proper architecture and high reusability of content.
  • Coordinating DFMEA activities between different departments and mitigating conflicts in the analysis process.
  • Participating in the preparation of the DFMEA schedule and supporting the formation of the DFMEA team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering).
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (Quality, Engineering).
  • Competences in design of mechanical or electronics components.
  • Practical knowledge of FMEA tools and method.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Analytical skills to analyze technical data, identify trends and define priorities for design improvements.
  • Self‑motivated and disciplined to meet deadlines in the context of competing priorities and projects.
