As a DevOps Tools Support Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial technology infrastructure provider supporting banks with trading, clearing, financial information, and payments. You will be part of a team enabling development and project teams to work efficiently with GitLab, Artifactory, and SonarQube. Your role focuses on end-user support, resolving issues, and improving developer experience. By translating recurring support needs into automation, documentation, and process improvements, you will help drive digital transformation and ensure smooth operations for critical financial systems worldwide.

responsibilities :
Serve as first responder for tickets, including access issues, project/repo requests, pipeline/job failures, runner problems, artifact publishing/resolution issues, and permission/SSO questions
Diagnose CI/CD failures by reviewing logs, runners/executors, variables/secrets, and pipeline configuration and provide actionable fixes or workarounds
Unblock releases by troubleshooting Artifactory repository permissions, proxy/cache behavior, metadata, and retention/promotion policies
Maintain SLAs by prioritizing, escalating to vendors or platform teams when needed, and providing clear, timely updates
Partner with platform owners to translate recurring support needs into improved tooling, documentation, and automations
Provide proactive enablement and guidance to development teams to prevent recurring issues
Monitor platform performance and usage to identify areas for optimization and support improvements

Strong experience with GitLab administration and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in JFrog Artifactory management and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with SonarQube administration
Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments
Familiarity with Azure and cloud-based development environments
Practical scripting skills to automate support and operational tasks
Excellent help desk or technical support experience
Very good written and spoken English skills
