The successful candidate will be part of a globally diverse monitoring tooling team that provides support around the clock to a large internal customer base. The candidate will be required to bolster the support duties for the monitoring tools currently provided, namely AppDynamics, Splunk and Datadog.
responsibilities :
Support the full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, documentation, implementation following defined best practices and operational workflows for both on-premises and AWS infrastructure.
Interact with end users to gather requirements to on-board new data sources and applications into all relevant monitoring tools, analysing the application & configuration data for anomalies / trends, building dashboards and general support enquiries.
Edit and maintain configuration files associated to the supporting tooling.

Essential Technical Skills:
AWS.
Terraform.
Github.
Scripting (Python / Bash etc.).
Fluency in written and spoken English and be comfortable working in a multi-cultured/global environment.
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Ability to debug, optimise code, and automate routine tasks.
Knowledge of automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools.
Have experience supporting and building services in the public cloud (ideally AWS).
Experience developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
Experience in highly available, highly scalable architectures.
