We are looking for a DevOps / Data Engineer (DataOps) with extensive experience of using and deploying AWS services, software and cloud databases.  This is a technical hands-on role, the ability to work independently is a must as this person will own the technical implementation of the data lake environment, building on the current solution.

The key skill is to design and build an optimal solution to meet the relevant requirements for the data platform, which consists of an S3 based data lake, Snowflake data warehouse and associated governance and integration services. 

Our client is a UK-based AI-driven PharmaTech company dedicated to the discovery, design and development of better medicines. It has developed the first functional precision oncology platform to successfully guide treatment selection and improve patient outcomes.

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 7+ years of professional experience on similar positions (DevOps, Data Engineer, Security Engineer, MLOps, DataOps, etc.);
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, especially in filesystem & object storage (S3), messaging (SQS, SNS) and monitoring (Cloudwatch, Billing and cost management);
• Advanced Python and SQL programming skills;
• Profound knowledge of access controls (IAM);
• Hands-on experience in serverless services (Lambda preferred) and in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CDK);
• Data engineering and DevOps practical skills;
• Configuration and using pipeline (Git, Bitbucket);
• Team player, open to discussion and collaboration, but able to work independently;
• Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities autonomously;
• Fluent in English to work effectively in a multinational tea;
• Location in Poland for easy signing of cooperation offers and occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Ability to start work as soon as possible in June;
• Workflow Orchestration (Prefect);
