We are looking for a Software Engineer with DevOps expertise and Python experience who can provide support to product teams, CI/CD processes, and help with infrastructure changes. This is a senior role as the work will impact multiple teams (18-25 teams). Work hours will have little overlap with NA hours (7 a.m. PST- 11 a.m. PST – 16.00 – 20.00 CET).



You will be building automation to enable machine learning engineers to continuously deliver predictive analytics for athlete performance, forecasting, personalization, and inventory optimization. You will work with a team of architects, platform engineers, and machine learning engineers to invent new and interesting models, test them, and produce and scale them in the cloud as APIs, stream processing, or massive batch processing.



Your tasks



  • Design and implement public and internal APIs as well as event and streaming-based services
  • Build Tests and Pipeline for automated Deployment
  • Establish Monitoring and Alerting for custom infrastructure
  • Support investigation of new cloud services, software packages/tools, APIs, container management, and distributed systems, to continuously deliver quality analytics and machine learning at scale
  • Batch data pipelines for machine learning for massive data sets
  • Enable rapid iteration and product quality through continuous A/B testing
  • Design, implement, and maintain solutions/platforms
  • Build cloud infrastructure for machine learning following the MLOps model
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team of software engineers, data engineers, ML experts, and others to build new product features
Requirements



  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Availability to work with US timezone (7 a.m. PST- 11 a.m. PST), which is 16:00 – 20:00 CET, other 4 hours are flexible
  • Previous work with infrastructure as code with Terraform
  • Strong Python programming knowledge, shell scripting, and SQL
  • Proficiency in CI/CD infrastructure using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Experience with any system configuration management tool, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Knowledge of Docker, Mesos, containers, and related tools and systems
  • Ability to work with AWS components and services, particularly, IAM, ECS/EKS, EMR, S3, and Lambda/Serverless
  • Fluent English
Nice to have



  • Experience with Databricks, Spark, Snowflake
