Our customer is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with wide practical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and strong experience as a Golang Developer to join the international team supporting the development and maintenance of a cloud-based innovative platform.



Your tasks

• Supporting the production platform according to a schedule.
• Developing software in Golang and adhering to the industrys best standards and security requirements.
• Maintaining declarative definitions of infrastructure and other resources in YAML.
• Developing abstractions over Kubernetes workloads.
• Building productive networks with technical colleagues, knowledge sharing, participating in technical forums and user groups.
• Demonstrating a strong working understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on assigned systems with minimal support.

• At least 5 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 2 years working in Golang (or other programming languages with the ability to change to Go).
• Solid DevOps experience in running applications on Kubernetes.
• Strong know-how in writing Kubernetes operators.
• Ability to write RESTful APIs and use Swagger to generate REST clients.
• Thorough knowledge of AWS.
• Availability for on-call/support duty in a 12h/7day schedule if needed.
• Very good English communication skills.
