About the project

Our customer is looking for experienced DevOps Engineer with wide practical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS and strong experience as a Golang Developer to join the international team supporting development and maintenance of cloud based innovating platform.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting production platform according to a schedule
• Developing software in Golang and adhering to the industry's best standards and security requirements
• Maintaining declarative definitions of infrastructure and other resources in YAML
• Developing abstractions over Kubernetes workloads
• Building productive networks with technical colleagues, knowledge sharing, participating in technical forums and user groups
• Demonstrating a strong working understanding of production systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve many problems on assigned systems with minimal support

Our requirements

• At least 5 years of software development, including minimum 2 years of working in Golang (or other programming languages with the ability to change to Go)
• Solid DevOps experience in running applications on Kubernetes
• Strong know-how in writing Kubernetes operators
• Ability to write RESTful APIs and using Swagger to generate REST clients
• Thorough knowledge of AWS
• Availability for on-call/support duty in 12h/7day schedule if needed
• Very good English communication skills
