Our DevHub for international projects within Wolters Kluwer is looking for a DevOps Engineer.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines, catering specifically to a TypeScript monorepo with multiple microservices and Angular apps.
- Implement and manage deployment logic ensuring secure and efficient delivery to production environments, handling thousands of automated tests and various security and quality checks (e.g., Blackduck, SonarCloud).
- Collaborate with the Security and DevOps teams to enhance and secure the AWS infrastructure, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of TaskFlows applications and services.
- Work on improving the local build experience for developers by integrating a variety of development tools (such as Atlassian, Sentry, OpsGenie, ELK, Intercom) into both development workflows and production operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices, capable of managing complex deployment scenarios.
- Demonstrable knowledge of AWS services, with a preference for candidates having experience with AWS CDK.
- Experience with Docker and understanding of container-based architectures and deployments.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch and its deployment and operational challenges.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills in English and Polish, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD related development tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in the AWS ecosystem and how they integrate with large-scale applications.
- Previous involvement in projects improving developer experience and operational efficiencies.
- A keen interest in the latest technology trends, with a continuous desire for innovation.
