We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Kafka experience to support the provisioning of cloud-based infrastructure for a major platform convergence initiative. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and automating AWS environments while managing Kafka clusters to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
responsibilities :
Provision and automate new AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Deploy and manage Kafka clusters, ensuring high availability and security with TLS/SSL mutual authentication and encryption.
Implement Kafka MirrorMaker for data replication and synchronization across multiple data centers.
Manage and maintain AWS services, including EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, KMS, VPC, SageMaker, and CloudWatch.
Configure networking components within AWS, including VPCs, security groups, subnets, and transit gateways.
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Jenkins for automated deployments.
Utilize Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration and implement Istio service mesh for secure service-to-service communication.
Implement monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, and other alerting frameworks.
