Obowiązki

•  Leadership activities: support Technical challenges, collaborating with developers and QA;
• Planning workshops for the team;
• Planning and migrating on-prem services to the Cloud;
• Implementing #Microservice practices;
• Leading projects with fully autonomy;
• Reviewing a backend design and providing recommendations to the Dev team about best practices to optimize costs and have better performance;
• Implementing best practices for service performance visibility;
• Building and setting up new development tools and cloud infrastructure (#AWS, #Azure);
• Automate, and optimize #CI/CD for other processes on projects;
• Analysis and monitoring of logs;
• Improve the processes that software engineers use to build and deploy their software in production;
• Setting up servers, instances, and environments on-premise and in #VMware;
• Responding to and troubleshooting performance and reliability issues.
• Research and learn other technologies to improve the performance of the actual and future environment.

Wymagania

• 3 + Years of experience;
• Experience in deploying and managing observability tools such as #ELK;
• In-depth knowledge of basic large-scale Internet service architectures (DNS, HTTP/S, ingress, Load Balancing);
• Working knowledge of the #TCP/IP stack, routing, and load-balancing technologies;
• Hands-on experience with #Git as a version control;
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment on Microsoft Azure;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using automation tools/ configuration management systems like #Terraform;
• Good knowledge with logging and monitoring technologies such as #DataDog, #ELK stack, including ML;
• Good knowledge of #Linux environments and automation scripting (bash or python);
• Strong knowledge of best #DevOps practices and methodologies;
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable and highly available application;
• Strong experience with #Kubernetes and #Docker 4 year+;
• Understanding networking on different levels (understanding model OSI);
• Knowledge of Linux OS administration.
