Join our team as a DevOps Engineer (Environment Management Engineer)!

About the project:

In Cross Channel Services (CCS) we are delivering cross-functional services for implementations in the online banking platform of Commerzbank to ensure stable and highly available online banking.

In your role as a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance and further development of Tomcat applications configuration in the Cluster CCS. You will also be responsible for the continuous development of the configuration automation of the Tomcat application servers of the new modular applications in the CCS Cluster, as well as OpenShift and Hashicorp. Additionally, your tasks include setting up technical users, environment passwords, certificates, and service endpoints.

What you will be responsible for?

• OpenShift administration
• Cloud setup & deployments
• Troubleshooting of test environment for applications
• Cross-departmental communication

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Very good knowledge of OpenShift Administration
• Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix scripting

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of DevOps
• Basic knowledge of network architecture
• Basic knowledge of Azure cloud
• Basic knowledge of Tomcat
• Basic knowledge of Dynatrace
