Your role

Do you have passion for reliability, scalability and performance in software?

We are looking for:

1. Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems.
2. Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance new and existing applications.
3. Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure.
4. Execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
5. Implement and improve monitoring and alerting and implement CICD pipeline.
6. Deliver high quality code, aligned with UBS guidelines and standards.
7. Conduct code reviews, test software and release management as needed.
8. Experience with Azure Cloud Services.

Your team

You will be working as part of the Unified Global Alternatives, Asset Management, IT group in Poland for a dedicated agile embedded team that supports a rapidly growing business, continuously improving its bespoke end-to-end solutions, interactively working with users to enable them in meeting the needs of their clientele. As a development team, we are just as passionate about producing optimal business solutions as we are in technology.

Your expertise

You have:

1. Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
2. The ability to code and script in multiple languages and automation frameworks like Python, C#, YAML.
3. Experience with Azure Cloud Services, managing infrastructure.
4. Familiarity with ARM templates, Terraform, AZ CLI/PowerShell for Azure infrastructure.
5. Knowledge of ASP.Net and C#, REST.
6. Familiarity with SQL scripting (MSSQL).
7. Understanding the value of diversity in the workplace and dedication to fostering an inclusive culture.
8. Collaboration with other engineers to develop and maintain code quality standards.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

2. A proactive self-starter and critical thinker, who is passionate about agile and requirements elicitation methodologies, team-oriented and an excellent communicator.
