DevOps Engineer (Azure MLOps)

Your responsibilities

  • driving MLOps Roadmap for end-to-end MLOps capabilities as a member of the Team
  • providing expert skills on MLOps practices based on existing Azure Cloud stack
  • leveraging standards of SW development and testing best practices, also for MLOps
  • being responsible for the development, unit testing, deployment, and integration testing of capabilities
  • developing and integrating Dataiku AI Governance Workflows and MR Extensions via Dataiku Plug-in
  • providing support and automation for ML templating for our Data Scientists
  • supporting, monitoring, and alerting solutions for deployment and test pipelines
  • estimating complexity and planned effort for development tasks in Azure DevOps Backlog
  • creating and automating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • presenting and demonstrating product features within team reviews and for internal Stakeholders
  • developing and sharing best practices for ML Engineering tasks with the internal MLOps community

Our requirements

  • fluency in English
  • 4+ years of experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
  • strong customer-oriented mindset
  • passionate about making things work iteratively and automating + scaling them
  • deep knowledge of software development and engineering in combination with ML models
  • experience in development AML, Databricks, Dataiku, and API management
  • experience in using popular MLOps frameworks like MLFlow
  • proficiency in object-oriented programming with Python and other languages
  • practical ability in creating build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps for ML artifacts
  • experience in supporting real-time-inference scenarios with Azure Machine Learning and AKS
  • knowledge of tools, methods, and frameworks used by data scientists (like PyTorch, and Tensorflow)

  • German language skills
  • experience with implementing enterprise-level compliance and risk management concepts
