Why this role is important to us  

At SimCorp, we support some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to be successful by simplifying their investments, accounting, and operations.

As a DevOps Engineer in Standard Platform you will take part in the technical development of Standard Platform pipeline and toolset for continuous delivery and automation.

 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Provision, configure and maintain Azure DevOps, TeamCity and Jenkins pipelines and be familiar on how to manage the code behind i.e. Everything-as-Code.
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Engaging in relevant DevOps channels across the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement.
  • Provide incident handling to investigate and diagnose issues impacting the code pipeline. Implement and deploy code changes to resolve issues and recover from service outages.
  • Popularize ideas and principles of the SaaS-centric organization (Software as a Service).

 

What we value: 

  • Significant experience in C# .NET Framework, and Powershell
  • Significant knowledge of CI/CD tooling (especially Azure DevOps, TeamCity)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience in OOP
  • Familiarity with DevOps lifecycle
  • Modern engineering practitioner (SOLID, TDD)
  • Experience in developing tools and frameworks focusing on test automation would be beneficial
  • Proven in the track of practicing DevOps Mindset

Moreover, what we value:

  • Java and Kotlin knowledge is a plus
  • Having experience with Jenkins is a plus
  • Experience with REST, GraphQL
  • Having experience with SecOps and monitoring security vulnerabilities
  • Support experience of Azure production environment, disaster recovery, cost reduction
  • Experience working with Biceps scripts
  • Having experience with SaaS solutions
