We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with solid expertise in PostgreSQL/EnterpriseDB (EDB) to join a mission-critical data platform project for a leading Polish healthcare organization. The initiative focuses on building and maintaining a highly available, secure, and scalable data warehouse infrastructure to support healthcare analytics and reporting systems handling large volumes of data.

Work model: hybrid – test to be completed on-site.

DevOps Engineer - Administrator EDB / PostgreSQL

Your responsibilities

• Administer and optimize PostgreSQL/EDB database environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform components.
• Deploy and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects on the data warehouse lifecycle.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and prevent recurring problems.
• Continuously improve automation, performance, and monitoring processes.

Our requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as DevOps Engineer or Database Administrator
• Proven track record in at least one project involving:
• Data Warehousing or large data volume processing
• CI/CD standards and tools
• High Availability cluster environments
• PostgreSQL / EnterpriseDB (EDB)
• Postgres Enterprise Manager
• Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
• Linux systems administration and shell scripting
• Hands-on work with Spark/Hadoop
• Experience with PostgreSQL/EDB on large datasets
• Valid EDB certification (e.g., PostgreSQL Essentials 15 or equivalent)
