What You’ll Do

1. Help development teams onboard their services onto Kubernetes
2. Improve observability, alerting and automation
3. Apply best practices around security and compliance

Skills You’ll Need

1. 2+ years of experience delivering reliable and maintainable software
2. Comfortable working with the command line on Linux (e.g. bash scripts)
3. Good level of understanding of Kubernetes and Helm core concepts
4. Experience with software delivery tools like ArgoCD or similar
5. Open-source observability stack – Prometheus or Victoria Metrics, Grafana, Fluentd and OpenTelemetry or similar
6. Python programming
7. Fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills
2. B.S. or M.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3. Experience working with hypervisors is a plus
4. GitHub administration experience is a plus
