We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes, AWS, and system automation experience. Hands-on system management, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management skills are also needed for this position. Our ideal candidate will have experience working on code delivery pipelines. Our client is a cutting-edge bioinformatics company committed to revolutionizing the field of bioinformatics through innovative software solutions. Its primary focus is to develop powerful, user-friendly tools that enable researchers, clinicians, and biotechnology professionals to analyze and interpret complex genomic data seamlessly.

For the first month or so, work will take place in the US time zone, and then overlap 2-3 hours will be required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain production environments running on Kubernetes and AWS;
• Implement CI/CD pipelines;
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform;
• Ensure high quality, reliability, and security of systems;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the production environment;
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 15 596 - 19 195 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 130 – 160 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience;
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS;
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar system management tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible);
• Hands-on experience with Tekton or similar CI/CD tools (e.g. ArgoCD, Jenkins);
• Experience supporting and maintaining production environments;
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and best practices;
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Typescript, Java, Tekton (CI/CD);
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer;
• Professional or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate;
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA);
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
