DevOps Engineer Wanted!


Are you passionate about building groundbreaking technologies and making big things happen? Were looking for a talented DevOps Engineer with a focus on Integration Testing to join our dynamic team. Youll be working on the cutting-edge development and deployment of mobile robotics applications for maritime vessels. If you have a knack for "systems-level" thinking and enjoy working on large-scale autonomous systems, this is the perfect role for you!


Location: Gdańsk (Office 3x/Week)

Budget: 25,000 - 30,000 PLN gross (Employment Contract)


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate: Work with software architects and engineers on software development across various platforms and products.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Automation: Automate and enhance our software build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Container Orchestration: Develop and maintain systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring: Build robust monitoring and alerting systems for our infrastructure.
  • API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs.
  • Cross-Functional Work: Engage with technical teams, operations, and product management.
  • Documentation: Maintain software documentation and assist in developing user documentation.
  • Field Testing: Participate in on-water testing.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: BS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of DevOps experience.
  • Linux: Strong background in Linux (kernel, system administration, networking).
  • Programming: Advanced experience with object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Java, etc.) and scripting (Python, Unix).
  • CI/CD Tools: Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization and containerization.
  • Architecture: Experience with multi-tier architecture.
  • Robotics: Experience with unmanned vehicles and/or mobile robotics.
  • Simulations: Experience developing autonomous vehicle simulations and automated tests.
  • ROS: Familiarity with ROS (ROS2, rosbag, gazebo) is a plus.
  • Agile: Experience with Agile principles.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
  • Pace: Comfortable with a fast-paced development schedule.
  • Marine Vehicles: Familiarity with marine vehicles and instrumentation is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and a strong desire to optimize.
  • Continuous Learning: Interest in self-improvement and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • English Proficiency: Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
