Swarmer is a Vendor-Agnostic Autonomy for Coordinated Robots. We develop AI-managed collaborative autonomy to make teams of connected drones and autonomous systems smart, efficient, and self-improving over time.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and manage the infrastructure that supports our multi-vendor UAV autonomy platform. You’ll manage both cloud environments for data and ML workloads, as well as on-premise systems for testing and integration, enabling our engineering teams to iterate quickly and deploy safely.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for robotics and AI/ML software.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, etc) for data processing, training, and simulation.
Administer and optimize Linux-based systems used in development and testing labs.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of services.
Integrate containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
Ensure security and reliability of infrastructure in a high-stakes defense environment.
Support developers with infrastructure for simulation and integration testing.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Linux Systems Engineering.
Strong understanding of the network stack and core network protocols, including how they operate in Linux environments.
Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (bash, python).
Experience with CI/CD systems and version control tools (ArgoCD, Git).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
Familiar with database deployment and maintenance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience supporting ML or robotics workloads is a plus.
English B2+.
