DevOps Engineer
Location: Poznań - Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Type of contract: contract B2B (by Hays Poland)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The person in this role will be responsible for planning, developing, evaluating, and implementing maintenance plans for infrastructure and software deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement maintenance plans for infrastructure and software deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and IoC.
- Configure and prepare production release deployment and rollback instructions.
- Automate deployment, scripting, and monitoring of non-production environments using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and GIT.
- Troubleshoot and debug service-related issues.
- Collaborate with other team members.
- Create change records in Service-Now for maintenance windows or application changes.
- Be the primary contact for deployment-related inquiries and issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Develop deployment support documentation.
- Work with QA teams to deploy and troubleshoot product software.
- Engage and participate in project meetings.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, IoC, Linux, and K8s administration in an Enterprise Cloud environment (only in a live production environment).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud networking.
- Regular on-call participation is a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps/Deployment Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, or other tools.
- 3+ years of experience in deployment and operations.
- 3+ years of experience with Redhat Linux, AIX, or any Unix-flavored OS.
- 1-3 years of experience with Tomcat/tcServer.
- Strong understanding of SDLC.
- Experience with builds, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Basic scripting knowledge.
- Experience with Java, J2EE, JASPER, IBM MQ Broker, SOAP, REST, XML, Webservices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with operations, QA, and development teams.
- Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.
- Basic SQL skills to support applications.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or Computer Information.
- Good experience with ITIL, BMC Remedy, Service Now, or other ITIL frameworks
