As a DevOps Engineer in Futurehome, you will be part of our DevOps Team. You will be maintaining and growing the Futurehome platform, including features, infrastructure, CI/CD, and monitoring processes.

As a member of this team, you will be part of the creation of an excellent system that will connect thousands of homes and be used by millions of people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Designing and automating the CI/CD process
2. Working on performance monitoring/alerting
3. Performing infrastructure cost and capacity estimations
4. Developing new tools for internal process improvements
   
   Documenting processes and tools
5. Maintaining and growing the Futurehome infrastructure
6. Performance assessment - checking how application servers behave under load and coming up with strategies to improve processing
   
   times/scale events

REQUIREMENTS

1. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
2. 3+ years of commercial experience with Go
3. 3+ years of working experience in AWS (mandatory)
4. Any commercial scripting experience (Python, Bash, Groovy)
   
   Production experience with gRPC
5. At least 2 years of experience working with Terraform (mandatory)
6. Any working experience in CI/CD (Jenkins/Travis/Github Actions/CircleCI)
7. Working experience in Docker
8. Infrastructure monitoring and alerting experience
9. Working proficiency in English (min. C1), both written and spoken
10. Experience working in an international company
11. Proactive attitude and sense of responsibility for the outcomes

NICE TO HAVE

1. Any working experience in Datadog, Kubernetes
2. Understanding scripting and using it at work
3. Experience working in a technology company
4. Ability to work under stress for brief periods
5. A bit of a sense of dark humor goes a very long way ;)
