We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska and one of our innovative international squads located in Luxembourg and Poland.
You will play a pivotal role in helping the organization through its digital and transformation journey and working in a dynamic team that moves quickly and fosters a culture of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated operations.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

responsibilities :
Partner with lead Architects and DevOps peers to implement highly scalable, resilient, and performant cloud and private cloud solutions.
Work independently to migrate existing workflows to modern automation and orchestration engines as defined by architectural teams.
Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement in the development and optimization of application and system deployments.
Leverage and build CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment, validation and management.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency.
Identify and develop cross-cutting reusable building blocks to be provided to domain applications.
Work with security teams to ensure cloud solutions comply with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cloud/DevOps Engineer role with a proven track record of implementing cloud services.
Strong portfolio of successful cloud projects and innovations.
Professional certifications in cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure on both AWS and private cloud solutions.
Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and transformation patterns.
Solid knowledge of container and container orchestration services (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
Deep knowledge of infrastructure as a code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Extensive experience with Rest API and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
EU citizenship.
Fluent English B2/C1.
Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
