We are looking for DevOps Engineer to join Sopra Steria Polska and one of our innovative international squads located in Luxembourg and Poland. You will play a pivotal role in helping the organization through its digital and transformation journey and working in a dynamic team that moves quickly and fosters a culture of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated operations.
Tech stack on the project: GitLab, Terraform, AWS, CI/CD, Python
responsibilities :
Integrate, test, maintain and improve code and tools related to our GitLab service offer.
Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimization.
Write unit tests and integration tests where necessary to increase confidence during development and deployment of the code.
Utilize Gitlab, CI/CD, and coding skills to automate the deployment and analysis of code.
Suggest and implement automation to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
Work closely with cross-functional team members, including architects, system administrators, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to foster effective collaboration within the squad.
Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the collective expertise of the team.
Resolving operational tickets while keeping in mind our SLAs and KPIs.
Document code, scripts, and configurations thoroughly to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer within the squad.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the squad.
requirements-expected :
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
Proven track record of working in a collaborative and agile development environment.
Experience with GitLab as user, Terraform, AWS (EC2, Load balancers, RDS, Lambdas, CloudWatch, networking, S3, API gateway), CI/CD and DevOps principles are required.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Have a client-minded approach to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
EU citizenship.
Fluent English: B2/C1.
Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
