For our UK customer, a Big4 consulting firm were looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineers to maintain and support (3rd LoS) production infrastructure and platform for a UK insurer.
Were building a team responsible for high-availability and daily operations of the insurance portal platform.
The role includes rotating on-call duty (paid additionally).
Its an open-end long-term stable engagement.
- Azure Cloud Management:
- Proficiency in managing Azure resources (Azure APIM, AKS with VMSS node pool, App Service, Azure Keyvault, Azure Front Door with WAF Policy, Azure Firewall)
- Experience with Azure virtual networks, private DNS zones, private endpoints, and network security groups
- Azure Kubernetes
- Experience with managing/updating/troubleshooting AKS clusters
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Proficiency in Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure
- Scripting and Automation:
- Strong working knowledge scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell
- DevOps and CI/CD:
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories
- Familiarity with CI/CD best practices
- Security and Compliance:
- Understanding of network security principles - Azure Sentinel - Code scanning - WAF - Azure Front door
- Monitoring and Alerting:
- PagerDuty
- Managing Azure monitor and alerting systems
- Managing Azure Sentinel
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with cloud infrastructure using Azure native monitoring tools
- ServiceNow Integration
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Documentation and Collaboration:
- Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Oral and written English B2+
- Preferred Skills:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
- Experience with monitoring tools and practices in a cloud environment
- Knowledge of best practices for cloud security and compliance
- Familiarity with hub and spoke architecture in Azure
