Key Responsibilities
- Focus on containerizing applications and services.
- Collaborating with Agile teams to support software engineers, data scientists, and bioinformaticians in building and deploying web applications and computational pipelines.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for efficient and rapid application deployment.
- Contributing to the architecture design and technology selection for new modules and products.
- Documenting system configurations and ensuring up-to-date records.
- Implementing and managing security best practices, including access control management and regular security assessments.
- Setting up and managing monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues, ensuring comprehensive logging and alerting.
- Utilizing DevOps tools such as Docker, Ansible, GitLab CI, and Git.
- Proactively addressing and resolving technical challenges within the team.
YOU WILL GET BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Familiarity with other DevOps tools for Continuous Integration, cloud configuration, and machine provisioning.
- Experience working with Jenkins and Openshift.
- Familiarity with Atlassian software: Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Working experience in a similar role for at least 3 years.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes .
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation .
- Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack .
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
