about-project :
We are looking for a tester to join our team, which is involved in designing labelers and industrial printers. The main responsibilities for this position include preparing product tests, starting from the test plan and ending with the test execution report. The tester will also be responsible for providing expert support in the testing process for software engineers. Additionally, the testers tasks will include preparing and implementing a strategy for evolving the current testing process towards greater automation and increased efficiency.
responsibilities :
Test Phoenix Contact products
Develop and maintain test plans and strategies for software and firmware
Create test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and document defects
Collaborate with the development team to analyse and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct regression testing
Generate detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders
Define testing guidelines in cooperation with HQ Laboratory
Expert support in the field of testing, for other members of the project team in Poland and Germany
Continuously enhance relevant skills
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related)
3+ years of experience in Software/Firmware testing
Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level)
Knowledge in the use of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools
Knowledge in scripting for test automation.
Willingness to occasionally travel to the company headquarters in Germany for training and project coordination
