We are looking for a skilled Design Reviewer to join our banking client’s team and support the secure development of software solutions. In this role, you will evaluate system and application architectures—both on‑premises and in the cloud (with a strong focus on AWS)—and collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure our products are designed with security, scalability, and best practices in mind. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
responsibilities :
Review software architecture designs for on‑premises and cloud‑based environments (especially AWS)
Act as a technical partner for development teams in the area of application security
Analyze penetration testing results and code review reports
Identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on security and architectural standards
Provide guidance and best practices to support secure solution design
requirements-expected :
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role related to software architecture or application security
Solid understanding of software architecture for on‑premises and cloud environments (AWS highly preferred)
Experience in application security concepts and secure development practices
Ability to analyze pentest findings and code review reports
Strong problem‑solving skills and the capability to translate risks into actionable recommendations
Excellent communication skills in English
Openness to working from the Warsaw office at least 3 days per week
Residing in Poland required
