We’re VisualPanda, a UX/UI design agency creating digital experiences for 85 million users worldwide. Our team of 10 (and growing!) talented designers thrives on collaboration and creativity. We partner closely with over 150 developers, QA specialists, and product owners to deliver impactful solutions for our clients, building long-term relationships along the way. We’re all about sharing knowledge, staying inspired, and yes, having fun—whether it’s collaborating in the same office or turning our inside jokes into memes.

We’re looking for an accomplished Design Lead (UX) with extensive experience in User-Centered Agile Methods to lead our design strategy and oversee all deliverables, from initial research to rapid prototyping. This role requires proficiency in advanced research methodologies (RITE, Service Safari, IDI), ensuring that all research and design responsibilities are managed without AI or LLM-based tools, upholding the highest standards of user-centered design. If you have relevant experience, great English skills and strong portfolio we’d love to chat!

What you’ll do:

  • Apply User-Centered Agile Methods: Lead the design process by integrating user-centered principles within an agile framework, ensuring iterative testing and continual alignment with real user needs.
  • Lead Design Strategy Workshop: Prepare and facilitate a multi-day workshop focused on rapid prototyping and aligning design with core business objectives.
  • Project Setup and Research: Conduct thorough project scoping, planning, and research to establish achievable objectives rooted in user-centered methodologies.
  • Manage Design Sprints: Drive the creation of design sprints, from exploration to wireframing, and incorporate rapid iterations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop Prototypes: Oversee high-quality, clickable MLP prototypes, preferably using Protopie.
  • Conduct Comprehensive User Research:
  • RITE (Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation): Lead iterative usability testing for swift design refinement.
  • Service Safari: Experience the user journey directly to uncover critical touchpoints.
  • In-Depth Interviews (IDI): Engage in deep user interviews to understand motivations, behaviours, and needs.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely on our projects with the CEO, CTO, and other stakeholders to ensure design strategies align with business goals.
  • Mentor and Manage Design Team: Foster a high-performing, collaborative team of UX/UI and UXR designers.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, UX Design, Digital Media, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Design Lead role with demonstrable experience in:
  • Applying User-Centered Agile Methods, including Phase 0 (initial research) and iterative testing.
  • End-to-end design project management, including workshop facilitation.
  • RITE, Service Safari, and IDI research methodologies.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping software
  • Research and Project Skills:
  • Skilled in balancing user needs with business requirements, ensuring both user-centered and commercially viable decisions.
  • Proven capability to complete responsibilities independently, maintaining integrity without AI or LLM tools.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

What’s in it for you:

  • B2B contract with a net salary of 25,000 - 30,000 PLN + VAT (UOP option available)
  • Further develop your skills in amazing and diverse team of 150+ professionals including designers, developers, PMs and QA specialists, in an environment where we care a lot about your growth
