WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

• Support design activities of component by FEM analysis in order to achieve performance and structural requirements, manufacturability and business expectation – cost targets and delivery on time.
• Support product definition and MRB by FEM analysis:
• FEM modeling (mesh, BCs and Loads application) of LPT Nozzles – Ansys, Hyper Mesh
• Perform structural FEM analysis aimed to meet life and dynamic requirements – Ansys
• Post processing of analysis and results interpretation – LCF, HCF, creep
• Results presentation and reporting to Technical Community and Hardware Owners
• Substantiate manufacturing Quality Notifications (casting machining) in production and quality systems, prepare technical reports and production permits
• Perform crack propagation analysis
• Support Source Substantiation Validation (VSE)

• Proactively work with Designers, Hardware Owners, machining shop improving design, solving manufacturability issues and simplifying production.
• Develop and support ideas for simplification, product robustness, DPU and cost reduction.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Software skills: Ansys, Hyper Mesh, Siesta, 3D FAS, UG, GE Design Systems (GTC, ECID).
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical components, material durability, manufacturing processes and material application in aviation industry.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point).
• Strong oral and written communication skills – English, Polish, Italian could be added value.
