Responsibilities:

1. Disseminating and posting documents
2. Accounting and foreign currency valuation, accruals, etc.
3. Preparation of VAT and CIT declarations
4. Keeping accounting records and reconciling them with the ledger accounts
5. Payroll preparation and reporting
6. Preparation of tax returns and reports for internal and external institutions
7. Cooperation with external institutions (ZUS, US, GUS, etc.)
8. Preparing bank transfers and posting bank statements
9. Confirm and reconcile balances with contractors
10. Support of other team members in preparing reports and financial reports
11. Keeping financial records in internal financial system (ERP)
12. Active participation in the preparation of financial statements according to certain standards (e.g. Polish Accounting Act, VAT Act)

Requirements:

1. Solid knowledge of English; must be able to use written and spoken English on a daily basis
2. Good knowledge of Polish tax laws and accounting policies
3. Knowledge of accounting and settlements in a limited liability company and a limited partnership
4. 8-10 years of experience in the accounting area, including a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a stand-alone position
5. Good organization of work and ability of analytical thinking
6. Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
7. Knowledge of the accounting system - Comarch ERP Optima
