Join us at Miele as a  Demand Planner!

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Demand Planner to join our Regional South Eastern Europe Supply Chain Team for Miele Czech Republic/Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine . The Demand Planner will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, coordinating the S&OP process, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure supply meets market needs. This role is critical to aligning sales strategies with business objectives and market trends.

Your responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain monthly and weekly demand forecasts using statistical tools, historical data, and market intelligence.

- Analyse sales trends, seasonal patterns, and promotional impacts to improve forecast accuracy.

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product management to gather input and align forecast assumptions.

- Monitor forecast accuracy and make recommendations to improve performance metrics

- Manage product lifecycle forecasts including new product introductions (NPI) and end-of-life planning.

- Lead the monthly S&OP process, ensuring cross-functional alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance

- Prepare demand planning data and insights for S&OP meetings, identifying risks, opportunities, and required actions and facilitate demand consensus meetings to align on a single, actionable demand plan.

- Act as a key liaison between commercial and operations teams to translate business strategies into operational plans.

- Partner with inventory and supply planners to ensure optimal stock levels and service levels.

- Work with IT and data analytics teams to improve demand planning tools and system capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain planning, preferably in the white goods or consumer durables industry.

  • Strong understanding of S&OP processes, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain principles.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) is required; familiarity with Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP) modules is a strong advantage.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written, at B2/C1 level);
