Demand Analyst
Job Description:
The Demand Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for driving the successful implementation, optimization, and governance of supply chain solutions. This position combines project management expertise, supply chain process optimization, and data-driven decision-making to deliver value-added services to customers and internal stakeholders. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, managing complex ERP configurations, and ensuring alignment across departments to meet customer requirements and business objectives
What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?
Project Management
- Ownership of the implementation and ERP configuration of new Supply Chain engagements or complex solutions & system set-ups
- Leading projects across various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of required tasks
- Review, maintenance and governance of existing customer engagements, ensuring that the solution meets the engagement goals.
Supply Chain Optimization
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing engagements
- Support the development of new and enhanced Supply Chain tools that are supported by the ERP system
- Supporting the other departments with operational value-add and expertise in handling complex solutions and system processes
- Building the support infrastructure for the growing Services portfolio in EMEA
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize advanced analytic tools to generate insights from supply chain data
- Reporting on engagement key performance metrics, both through report outs and joining business reviews. Identifying (and where necessary, escalating) non-conformance to expectations or terms and conditions
Inventory Management
- Subject matter experts of the end-to-end Consignment process
- Execution of controlled tasks such as Consignment stock adjustments or fee-for-service invoicing
Collaboration & Communication
- Coaching the sales organisation in the day-to-day management of their Supply Chain customers
- Liaison with other Arrow teams to ensure that the business systems are aligned in meeting the customer requirements.
What Are We Looking For?1. Analytical Skills:- Ability to analyze complex and sometimes ambiguous data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools like Excel or Power BI
- Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges effectively
2. Communication Skills:- Fluent English (written and spoken), with a secondary European language as a bonus
- Clear and effective communication with stakeholders across departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales
- Presentation skills to share insights and recommendations with stakeholders
3. Technical Proficiency:- Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., Oracle)
- Understanding of inventory management systems, supply chain and manufacturing practices and demand forecasting tools
4. Organizational Skills:- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in task execution
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinking to align supply chain operations with business goals
5. Collaboration & Teamwork:- Working effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Encouraging teamwork and fostering a collaborative environment, across multiple departments
