Job Description - Delegated Authority Business Partner (16 months fixed-term contract) (Job Number: 14002183M1D20241231)

What will your essential responsibilities include?

1. Monitoring the “Life cycle” of a scope of APAC & Europe Delegated Underwriting Arrangements (DUAs), including onboarding new DUAs, facilitating the review of new and renewal DUA contracts, and maintaining the cover holder repository of binding authority agreements up to date with the latest information.
2. Increasing data quality and processes around binding authority agreements.
3. Monitoring of Delegated Arrangement scope.
4. Participating in governance instances concerning DUA.
5. Acting as secretary of given committee and/or presenting summaries of activity, analysis, and reports to committee for information and decision.
6. Monitoring the regular external audit process of cover holders.
7. Supporting the annual review of Delegated Agents (including financial reviews).
8. Facilitating DUA underwriters to complete quarterly bordereaux reviews (leveraging offshore Middle Office teams).
9. Managing the Delegated Authority Incident Tool, and reporting to CRDOC/DGC as required.

You will report to the Head of Transversal Underwriting Operations.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

1. Mathematical/financial profiles with similar experience.
2. Compelling knowledge in Excel with the ability to manage, extract, and analyze data.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

1. Previous experience in the insurance or financial industry.
2. Knowledge of system Genius.
3. Potential to learn and grow within the underwriting and governance areas.
4. Ability to develop knowledge across all areas of insurance (risk, finance, audit, operations, underwriting).
5. Capability to develop project management expertise across countries and functions.
