Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, subject matter experts, solution designers and engineers, both at Capgemini and on the client side.
• Install, configure and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes and relationships to efficiently support the organisation's data storage and retrieval needs.
• Work on optimising database performance i.e.: fine-tuning Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle databases for efficiency, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing best practices to ensure optimal system responsiveness.

Requirements:

• Commercial experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise preferably in Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with database security, backup and recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the maintenance and administration aspects of database systems.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and database query optimization.
• Knowledge of database architecture, design, and performance tuning techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and French both spoken and written (at least B2 level)
