We’re looking for a Database Developer to join a top-tier digital marketing, advertising, creative, and print solutions company operating worldwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking business requirements and creating a database schema to reflect the intent of the requirements. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing efficiently with MySQL DBs
• Ensuring that data integrity and system performance for all the databases
• Creating and maintaining the database schemas based on business and project requirements
• Educating team members on database structures & development
• Writing efficient complex queries; assist developers in doing the same
• Creating upgrade scripts to move changes from development to production
• Supporting database management and providing help for upgrade and migration of databases to new releases
• Maintaining database documentation
• Advising and guiding team members regarding database, performance monitoring, and maintenance designing and tuning
• Troubleshooting the incidents and problems reported on database systems
• Working with IT and client solution team members to ensure database integrity, high availability, and security
• Providing the root cause analysis of the major incidents/problems

Requirements:

• Expertise in MySQL 8.0 (or newer) Enterprise Edition.
• Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Excellent understanding of database designing, ERDs, schema creation
• Highly skilled in creating stored procedures, functions, views
• Min. 4 years in DB Development with MySQL
• Bachelors degree
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and team-building skills
• Capable of translating business requirements into technical implementations
• Ability to work independently and interact with executive management 

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL Server 
• Master’s degree 
• Experience with Python or PHP
