Requirements:
— 5+ years ofPostgreSQL, Pg/SQL development experience.
— Oracle SQL, PL/SQLL development experience will beabig plus.
— Shredding, changing and understanding older code without the need toknow everything about abusiness process isimperative.
— Query performance analyzing and tuning.
— Experience with high loaded OLTP systems.
— Experience with very large databases.
— Experience with design, development, and maintenance ofreporting and data warehouse databases aplus.
— Experience with migrating schemas and data from Oracle toother RDBMS aplus.
— BasicDB administration experience.
— Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
— Familiarity with programming languages API.
— Problem solving skills and ability tothink algorithmically.
— Experience with Amazon Redshift, RDS, Aurora is a plus.
General skills:

Responsibilities:
— Responsible for designing, coding, and implementing software solutions using modern techniques and programming SQL language.
— Provides high-level database development assistance increating specific applications for businesses.
— Provides general support oninformation technology todesign, develop, execute, and maintain the database application systems, applying several RDBMS.
— Ensures research and innovation atall levels ofthe software development process.
— May participate inmultiple projects simultaneously asasenior development team member.
— Works harmoniously inacross-functional team comprising managers, supervisors, business analysts, systems personnel, network staff, and other developers inensuring the delivery ofsoftware solutions asplanned, within set budget, and timely.
— Acts asacoach ormentor tojunior software developers.
— Provides excellent customer service byresponding toand assisting with help desk calls toresolving issues, including system outages.
