As a Data Warehouse Developer you will be working for our client, a prominent leader in the health and beauty retail industry with a strong presence through its extensive network of stores and a thriving e-commerce platform. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of the companys central data warehouse.
This role is essential for improving business intelligence functions and empowering data-informed decisions across various departments. Your primary focus will be on the hands-on implementation of data solutions, ensuring the efficient processing and availability of information for advanced analytics, which helps in understanding customer behaviour and market dynamics.
Location: hybrid - 4 days in the office in Warsaw
Rate: B2B: 150 – 175 PLN/h netto+vat
responsibilities :
Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes feeding the data warehouse
Create, optimize and maintain complex SQL queries and perform data modeling
Automate data flows using scripting languages and integrate with external systems via API
Monitor the integrity and performance of data processes and respond quickly to incidents
Cooperate with analytical and business teams to support their reporting needs
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for the developed solutions
Work in a Linux/Unix environment and use version control systems
requirements-expected :
Experience with database systems such as Teradata, SAP HANA or similar
Fluency in SQL, including query optimization skills and practical experience in data modeling
Practical knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python or Shell script) and the ability to work with APIs
Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and ETL/ELT processes (e.g., Informatica Power Center)
Knowledge of visualization and reporting tools (e.g., SAP BO, Qlik Sense)
Comfort working with the Linux/Unix operating system and command-line tools
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket)
Independence in creating technical documentation (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Ability to proactively monitor processes and solve problems
English language proficiency enabling free communication and work with technical documentation (min. B2)
