We are looking for an experienced Data Test Automation Engineer to join our client’s team. You will be responsible for validating data pipelines and analytics workflows across modern cloud-based platforms. The role involves designing and developing both manual and automated test cases to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and end-to-end quality.
You will work closely with development, BI, and product teams to test solutions built on technologies such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and other Big Data platforms. Daily tasks include writing SQL queries and automation scripts in tools like Python or Java, as well as verifying analytics event tracking from data capture to final reporting.
Salary: 17 000 - 21 000 PLN gross/month, Contract of employment (B2B is an option)
Working model: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office)

responsibilities :
Collaborate with development teams to support the implementation of analytics features into client-facing applications.
Design and develop both manual and automated test cases for validating data integration pipelines and analytics solutions.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by testing applications built on data warehousing platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, and other columnar databases.
Develop and apply best practices for testing data integration and real-time streaming processes.
Build and maintain automated workflows for data validation and quality assurance using Big Data technologies.
Work closely with Business Intelligence and Product Management teams to create comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
Validate complete data pipelines, from data event creation through to reporting and dashboard layers.
Identify, report, and track defects, performing risk analysis to assign appropriate severity and priority.
Continuously improve testing approaches and tooling for better efficiency and coverage across the data ecosystem.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience in QA or test automation, ideally with a focus on data testing or data pipelines
Ability to design and develop both manual and automated test cases for data integration pipelines using Java.
Knowledge of data integration platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or other columnar databases.
Familiarity with verifying applications and tools built on data warehousing and Big Data technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Shell) to verify analytics event capture.
Understanding of best practices in data integration and data streaming.
Ability to design and develop workflows for data integration on Big Data platforms.
Experience working with BI and Product teams to define test strategies, test plans, and coverage for end-to-end data pipelines.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies focused on data validation.
Ability to perform risk assessments on identified defects and assign appropriate priority and severity levels.
Experience working with development teams implementing analytics features into client applications
