The Data Technology team is located within the IT structures, with the mission to enable and popularize data consumption across the whole company. The dynamically changing retail industry makes fast, accurate, and data-driven decision-making one of the most important competitive advantages. The specifics of our job require acting as a link between technology and business in various areas concerning data products. Our actions affect not only the local data community but also global teams with which we cooperate on a daily basis. The project portfolio consists of typical technological projects as well as the coordination of knowledge governance initiatives.

Technologies we use:

1. SQL
2. Business Intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects)
3. SAP HANA, S/4HANA
4. Integration and file processing servers (Shell scripting)

Your responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain data flows (Batch/Real time) to address business requirements and enable data consumption.
2. Develop and manage data models across all levels: physical (Data Warehouse), logical (Business Intelligence stack), and mixed (self-service tools).
3. Provide support to end users in response to incidents reported and within the local competence center around data products.
4. Cooperate with the global Data Technology team on international projects.

Our requirements:

1. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Data Warehousing and ETL projects.
2. Knowledge of database management systems, e.g., Teradata.
3. Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
4. Capacity to work under pressure and with considerable autonomy.
5. Good command of English (as a means of communication with end-users and management).
6. Experience in reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects, Qlik Sense, or similar will be valued.
